Mysuru: Rotaract ZOOTS, the Zonal Training Seminar for Rotaractors, was hosted by Rotary District 3181 on Oct.27 at Mahajana First Grade College in Mysuru.
Rotaract Clubs bring together people aged 18 and older to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service. In communities worldwide, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to take action through service.
The event, organised by Rotaract Mysore East and Rotaract Club of Mahajana led by Zonal Rotaract Representative IPP Rtr. Rtn. R. Prajwal, Chamundi Zone, was inaugurated by Rotary Mysore East President Rtn. Rohit Subbayya.
District Rotaract Representative Rtr. Rtn. R. Sanjay was the chief guest. Rtr. Rtn. Prajwal and District Secretary Rtr. Rtn. Ravishankar were the guests of honour.
Impactful Training Programmes were held throughout the day on various topics like ‘Future of Volunteerism’ by Rtn. Rakesh Babu, ‘Club Culture’ by Rtn. Shakuntala Elizabeth while SEARIC MDIO President PDRR Rtr. M.S. Abhijith trained Club Presidents & Secretaries, IPP Rtr. Rtn. Prajwal trained on ‘Avenue Services’ and Rtr. Gowtham on ‘Branding & Social Media.’ Over 130 Rotaractors from about 10 Rotaract Clubs in Mysuru City. Rtr. Shree Raksha and Rtr. Mohit Purohit, President of host Rotaract Clubs were present.
