They had allegedly kidnapped one Naveen from Bengaluru and had kept him in a lodge at Nagamangala after taking two rooms on rent. They had demanded Rs. 30 lakh ransom to release the boy.

It is learnt that as the kidnappers received Rs. 30,000 cash from the boy’s side, they had released the boy, who had called his parents over the phone and informed them about his release.

The boy’s parents, following the release of their son, informed the same to Tilaknagar Police in Bengaluru, where they had lodged the complaint and also provided the phone number from which the boy had called them.
