Mysuru: Shankar (82), retired Administrator at All India Institute of Speech and Hearing and a resident of Gokulam, passed away on Jan. 1 in city.

Shankar was responsible for the employees’ pension scheme, implementing rooster system for SC/ST staff and was successful in bringing various welfare schemes for employees.
