Mysuru: An 8-month long free coaching camp for aspirants of UPSC examinations organised by District Administration and Navo-Pramathi School of Civil Services was inaugurated by SP Ravi D. Channannavar at the SP office auditorium here yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Channannavar said that people usually refer to posts of IAS and IPS officers as plum positions. However, he contended that people with good intelligence and a will to work with the common people normally fit in well for IAS and IPS posts.
Going nostalgic, the SP said “While I was undergoing training for IPS competitive examination in Hyderabad, it was very difficult for me to comprehend Science and Technology. However the teachers were impressed by my enthusiasm to learn and their encouragement helped me to get through the examination”.
Pramathi Hill View Academy General Secretary H.V. Rajeev, Assistant SP Arunamshu Giri, Academy Principal C.S. Sudarshan, convenor B.S. Ravishankar, Navodaya Foundation Secretary Dr. S.R. Ravi and others were present.
