Mysuru:  The On-the-Spot Installation Competition, organised by the Dasara Fine Arts and Handicrafts Sub-Committee outside Kannada Karanji building in Dasara Exhibition premises on Dec.8, saw artists from across the State creating various spot installation arts highlighting various issues.

The art works were judged by a panel of judges comprising artists Ramesh and Manjunath from Mysuru and Abhilash from Mandya. The winners and their art works are as follows: 

Ravi Nayaka of Raichur bagged the first prize for his art titled ‘Plastic Ghost,’ second prize was bagged by Y. Chethan Kumar of CAVA for his art work titled ‘Value of Life’ and the third prize was bagged by Ramesh of Mysuru for his art titled ‘Female Foeticide.’ 

Two consolation prizes were given to K.S. Subash of CAVA for his art titled ‘Burst of Life’ and S. Madhusudhan of Chamarajanagar for his art titled ‘Superstition.’

The art works will be kept on display at the Kannada Karanji building in Dasara Exhibition grounds till Dec.27.
