SSLC Exam: Webcasting now extended to Unit tests

September 9, 2024

Bengaluru: Even as the debate continues over concerns that the webcasting in SSLC Exams has increased anxiety among the students and parents alike, the Education Department has decided to extend webcasting to this year’s SSLC Unit Tests as well.

Additionally, the Department has announced 20 new measures to improve SSLC results, which includes tracing progress, special classes, buddy pairing etc.

The webcasting was implemented last year to reduce malpractices during annual SSLC Exams, following which SSLC results hit a new low and the authorities claimed that the introduction of tough surveillance measures like webcasting had curbed mass copying and improved the sanctity of exams.
