State-level Chutuku Kavigoshti held

Mysuru: The State-Level Chutuku Kavigoshti, jointly organised by Chutuku Sahitya Parishat and Kannada Sahitya Parishat was held at Kannada Sahitya Bhavan at Vijayanagar in city, this morning.

Inaugurating the programme, Littérateur Dr. C.P. Krishnakumar said that limericks and short poems had importance of their own as it is one of the ways to express friendship and affection. 

He also released the collection of short poems written by Eshwara Mamadapura. 

About 25 poets from Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Kalaburagi, Belagavi, Mandya, Hassan and other districts took part. 

Chutuku Sahitya Parishat President Dr. M.G.R. Urs, Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Mysuru Chapter President Dr. Y.D. Rajanna, Sharana Sahitya Parishat President M. Chandrashekar, Poet Rathna Halappa Gowda and others were present.
