‘STEM Fest’ at Excel Public School on Nov.30

November 24, 2019

Mysuru: Excel Public School is hosting its annual Science-Technology-Engineering- Mathematics (STEM) Festival on Nov.30 at its Koorgalli campus. This festival exemplifies the fact that all technological developments depend on discoveries made in pure science.  True to its theme, the STEM Fest is an exposition of projects that highlight developments in science and technology.

Dr. KSMS Raghavarao, Director, CTFRI, Mysuru, will inaugurate the Fest and deliver the keynote address.

The fest has two facets — ‘Mendeleev’s Tapestry’ and ‘Bits, Bytes and Brains’.

Mendeleev’s Tapestry: 2019 has been designated by UNESCO as the International Year of the Periodic Table. Excel Public School has joined the global initiative to create new and exciting ways to learn and appreciate the elements of the universe. An exciting aspect of this programme is a theatre exposition titled, ‘A Musical Spallation of the Elements.’

Bits, Bytes and Brains: This segment focuses on engineering and technological advancements in the field of automation and artificial intelligence. It showcases the technical prowess of students in automating everyday tasks.

STEM Fest is an opportunity for everyone to witness, participate and enjoy the interplay of music, dance, science and technology. The event is open for public between 11 am and 2 pm. For details, contact Prameela on Mob: 99801-63406.
