Mysore/Mysuru: City Police Commissioner Seema Latkar has ordered suspension of a Head Constable attached to the City Crime Branch (CCB) on suspected links with robbers and anti-social elements.

The CCB Head Constable, who has been kept under suspicion, is Saleem.

Vijayanagar Sub-Division ACP Gajendra Prasad had submitted a report to the City Police Commissioner stating that Saleem, who is serving at the CCB since about 18 months is suspected to have links with a few anti-social elements, which could result in leakage of secret information of the Police Department. This report by the ACP was also recommended by DCP (Crime and Traffic)  S. Jahnavi.

Based on the report, City Top Cop has ordered suspension of the Head Constable.
