Mysore/Mysuru: As part of Swachh Survekshan 2025-26, Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) is conducting  Swachh Mysuru Quiz contest and Swachh Category Competitions, with the sole objective of promoting cleanliness, public health and effective waste management.

The quiz competition has been organised on Jan. 31 at 10.30 am at Kalamandira in city, in association with Department of School Education and Literacy, Department of Collegiate Education, University of Mysore and Excel Public School.

Two-student team from each of the schools and colleges can take part in the competition, being conducted in the categories of Class 7-9 and degree colleges. The top three winners will be distributed prizes. All the participants will be given Certificate of Appreciation.

Other competitions

That apart, several competitions have been organised under the following categories:

Swachh School, Swachh Market Association, Swachh Government Office, Swachh Hotel, Swachh Street Vendor Zone, Swachh Auto/ Taxi Stand, Swachh Hospital, Swachh RWA and Apartment Association and Swachh Transport Hub. The last date for registration is Jan. 27.

Environmental Engineers and Health Inspectors have been deputed for coordination and evaluation of the competitions.
