Syed Akhtar Hussain (80), a resident of Ashoka Road 15th West Cross in Lashkar Mohalla here, passed away yesterday in city.

He leaves behind his wife and a host of relatives and friends.

Namaz-e-Janaza was held last night followed by the burial at the Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle, according to family sources.
