Mysuru: SDM Institute for Management Development (SDM-IMD) was the knowledge partner for the ‘Inspiring Women to Live Fulfilling Lives’ symposium, hosted by the CII Mysuru CSR, HR-IR and Women Networking Panel at the Infosys Mysuru campus.
Organised as part of International Women’s Day, the event brought together over 160 participants for engaging discussions on financial, physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Dr. Neetu Ganapathy, Associate Professor at SDM-IMD, conceptualised the event, which featured insights from distinguished industry leaders and healthcare professionals. The symposium began with a keynote address by Dr. Ananthalakshmi Venkitaraman, Founder of EquiBeing Foundation, who delivered an inspiring message on overcoming self-doubt and embracing one’s full potential.

The event featured two insightful panel discussions:
Financial Well-being: Moderated by Dr. Shilpa Jnanesh, Director HR at rProcess Outsourcing Services, featuring CA Annapurna Srikanth, Chartered Accountant at Annapurna Srikanth & Associates and Sheetal Jain, Co-founder & CEO of LeRemitt. The panellists emphasised financial independence, smart money management and long-term financial security.
Physical Well-being: This session, moderated by Savitha Mallappa, CEO of rProcess Outsourcing Services, brought together Roopa Rao, Executive Secretary, Board of Management at AT&S Pvt. Ltd., Dr. Champakamala, Dietitian at Apollo BGS Hospitals and Dr. Sreenivas, Cardiologist at Narayana Health. The discussion underscored the importance of healthy eating, movement and exercise in maintaining overall well-being.
The afternoon sessions focussed on:
Mental Well-being: Dr. Arti Behl, Senior Consultant Psychiatrist at Apollo Hospital, led an engaging session on stress management, resilience and work-life balance, highlighting their impact on both personal and professional success.
Emotional Well-being: Dr. Neetu Ganapathy facilitated this session, emphasising self-compassion, emotional regulation and building strong, healthy relationships as essential components of lasting happiness.
Adding an interactive element to the event, Smriti Sugant, Associate Lead – Business Partner HR at Infosys Ltd., led a fun-filled games session that energised participants and fostered networking. The symposium opened with a welcome address by Preet Kushalappa, Associate VP – HRD at Infosys Ltd., followed by a special address by Nagaraja Gargeshwari, President & Director at Automotive Axles Ltd.
Solomon Pushparaj, Zonal Head of CII Mysuru, was among those present.
