Mysuru:  At a meeting with farmers of the taluk held at the Taluk Office in Mini Vidhana Soudha, Nazarbad, here on Thursday, Tahsildar Ramesh Babu assured to meet farmer leaders once in every two months in order to hear their grievances.

At the meeting, farmers raised issues such as Government land grab, lake bed encroachments in villages and hoblis, lack of publicity for Government schemes exclusively meant for farmers, undue delay in issuing land records, etc.

The Tahsildar, after hearing the grievances of farmers, directed the authorities to hold a meeting with farmers once in two months.
