Talk on ‘Understanding the Karnatak Violin’ tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysore Literary Association (MLA) has organised a talk on ‘Understanding the Karnatak Violin’ by Aniruddha Bharadwaj,  Musician, at 11 am tomorrow (Apr. 12) at Kalpa Kshetra Auditorium, #581/1, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, Mysuru.

Profile: Aniruddha Bharadwaj started learning violin at an early age of six, from Vid. N. Venkatesh. After a few years of tutelage under Dr. C.A. Nataraj and Vid. D. Balakrishna, he continued his further learning under Vid. S. Seshagiri Rao. He is currently taking advanced coaching from violin maestros Vid. Mysore M. Nagaraj and Dr. M. Manjunath.

He has performed for more than 500 concerts with renowned and upcoming artistes. He has been awarded a direct B-High Grade from AIR and Doordarshan. Karnataka Fine Arts Council (a conglomerate of 10 Sabhas in Bengaluru) has conferred ‘Kalavanta 2018 – Best Violin Accompanist’ title on Aniruddha as part of Kalavanta International Youth Music Fest.
