Mysore/Mysuru: Mysore Open Forum has organised a talk on  the topic ‘What Ails School Education? by K.S. Shankar Prasad, Senior Manager Educational Services, Excelsoft Technologies at 10.30 am on Oct. 15 (Saturday) at Kalpa Kshetra Auditorium, 581/1, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, 1st Phase, Mysuru.

Profile: Shankar Prasad is a Mechanical Engineering graduate with extensive entrepreneurial experience in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics industry. He has more than a decade of experience as Head Technology at BASE Bangalore a premier Test prep company. He has been a special invitee – Advisory Committee, JSS Group of Institutions, Mysuru and is a former head of IT/ITES Panel of CII Mysuru, representing about 43 top notch companies in Mysuru including Infosys, L&T, etc.

He has been a technology and business Mentor of TiE Mysuru and has been a business round judge CONRAD Challenge 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, US’ biggest school challenge competition. Prasad will talk of problems facing education in schools in India and possible solutions.
