Talk on ‘Why Science in Kannada?’ at Arivu Institute on Dec. 22

The Cosmology Education and Research Training Centre (COSMOS- Mysuru) of the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) along with Mysuru Readers has organised a public talk by Kollegala Sharma, Rtd. Chief Scientist, Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) and Editor – Kutuhali, titled “Why Science Writing in Kannada? (including Astronomy) on Dec. 22 at 4 pm at Arivu Vidyasamsthe, Srirampura, in the city. 

An interactive session with the audience will follow the talk. The event is free and open to all. The talk will shed light on the history, development and current situation of writing and communicating science in Kannada including challenges.
