Thousands witness ‘Cauvery Theerthodbhava’

Thousands of devotees witnessed ‘Cauvery Theerthodbhava,’ the holy water springing from the birthplace of River Cauvery, at Talacauvery in Kodagu today at 1.44 pm. The Kodagu District Administration had made elaborate arrangements for the event. The sacred ‘kundike’ at Talacauvery was decorated with flowers and lamps. Police had erected barricades for crowd management, and to facilitate smooth collection of ‘theertha.’
