Mysore/Mysuru: As a prelude to the annual day of Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha and Sri Purandaradasa and Sri Thyagaraja Aradhana scheduled for Feb. 11, Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha Charitable Trust has organised a week-long series of classical concerts by budding and local artistes as follows:
Feb. 4 – 6 pm: T.P. Subhashinee – Vocal; 7.15 pm to 8.30 pm: C.S. Prajna and S. Shreya – Vocal; Venue: Vinayaka Temple, Vijayanagar 2nd Stage.
Feb. 5 – 6 pm to 8.30 pm: Mysore S. Rajalakshmi – Veena, G.S. Ramanujan – Mridanga and V.S. Ramesh – Ghata; Venue: Alwar Krishna Mandira, Gokulam.
Feb. 6 – 6 pm: Rakesh Iyer – Vocal; 7.15 pm to 8.30 pm: S. Dayakar – Violin Solo; Venue: Bidaram Krishnappa Ramamandira.
Feb. 7 – 6 pm: Amrutha Tarakesh – Vocal; 7.15 pm to 8.30 pm: Sushma Deepak – Vocal; Venue: Krishnamurthypuram Ramamandira.
Feb. 8 – 6 pm: Abhigna Aghalayam – Vocal; 7.15 pm to 8.30 pm: Akshatha S. Bhat – Vocal; Venue: Jayanagara Ramamandira.
Feb. 9 – 6 pm: Adithi Naduthota & P.B. Keerthana – Vocal; 7.15 pm to 8.30 pm: Ranganath – Vocal; Venue: Lakshminarasimha Temple SBM Colony, Srirampura.
Feb. 10 – 6 pm to 8.30 pm: Sindhu Suchetan and H.M. Smitha – Vocal Duet, Prithvi Bhaskar – violin, N. Vasudev – Mridanga, K.M. Likhith – Ghata; Venue: Prasanna Parvathi Kalyana Mantapa, V.V. Mohalla.
Srivatsa, Amogh Nadadur, Tumkur Yashawi, Preran Praveen and Priyhvi Bhaskar will provide violin support while Skanda Bharadwaj, Nandan Kashyap, Shubhang Samaga, T.R. Bhuvan and T.S. Pramath will provide support on mridanga to the budding artistes.
