Mysuru: ADGP (Crime and Technical Services) K.V. Gangandeep held a meeting with the top cops of city at the Police Commissioner’s Office here this morning.
Gagandeep is said to have instructed the Police officers to keep a vigil on anti-social elements, budding politicians, various political parties and to ensure the maintenance of law and order in the wake of Tipu Jayanti on Nov. 10 and ensuing Assembly Polls. Later, he visited the SP office to hold a similar meeting.
It may be recalled that DG and IGP Neelamani N. Raju during her visit to the city on Monday had held meetings with city’s top cops and instructed them to ensure that law and order was maintained.
City Police Commissioner A. Subrahmanyeswara Rao, DCP (Law and Order) N. Vishnuvardhana, DCP (Crime and Traffic) Dr. Vikram V. Amathe, DCP (CAR) B.V. Kittur, ACPs, Inspectors of all Police Stations attended the meeting.
