• 2,138 students to receive their degrees and diplomas

Mysore/Mysuru: The Twelfth Convocation of JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER) will be held on  Dec. 17 at 4 pm at Suttur Mutt premises, foot of Chamundi Hill in the presence of Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji, the Chancellor of JSS AHER.

Padma Vibhushan Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari,  Srikshetra Dharmasthala, will be the chief guest, deliver the Convocation address and give away gold medals and prizes.

Board of Management  members and other dignitaries and distinguished guests from academia, administration and industry throughout the country besides the student and parents / guardians are participating in the convocation ceremony virtually.

In all, 2,138 graduands will receive their degrees and diplomas in various faculties while 47 candidates will be awarded Doctor of Philosophy Degrees; 7 candidates will be conferred with Doctorate in Medicine (DM) & Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) Degrees and 61 academic toppers will be presented with 83 medals and awards with certificates for their exceptional academic performances.

 JSS AHER has been able to attract good number of meritorious students from all over the country and abroad adding to the student diversity.

Presently, JSS AHER has around 8,000 students, 617 teaching faculty and 553  supporting staff.
