UGD overflowing for almost a year; Who will plug this problem?

October 25, 2021

Sir,

I am a resident of Ashwathamma Layout, Somanath Nagar, Dattagalli 3rd Stage. The UGD line coming all the way from Somanath Nagar to this Layout has been overflowing for almost a year now.

This has led to excessive breeding of mosquitoes and foul smell causing a lot of trouble for the residents. Children are suffering from fever and frequent illness due to mosquito bites.

We have informed about this problem to multiple Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) officials while they were here for septic tank construction work (near this place) but there has been no response so far.

On behalf of the residents, I once again request the authorities to please fix this UGD problem as soon as possible.

The residents are literally not able to come out of the house because of the stench and stink.
