Mysuru: As part of United Nations (UN) Foundation Day, the UN Flag was hoisted alongside the National Flag atop the Deputy Commissioner’s Office here yesterday.

The State Government, based on a directive from the Union Government, had issued a circular to all the DCs asking them to hoist the UN Flag  to mark the UN Foundation Day on Oct.24, atop all the DC Offices. 

Accordingly, the blue coloured UN Flag with a white logo was hoisted alongside the Tri-Colour atop the DC’s Office here and the Flag was brought down before sunset yesterday.
