Uneven stone slabs on footpath near Marimallappa School

The uneven stone slabs on the footpath near Marimallappa’s High School is posing danger to the pedestrians especially students as almost all the slabs have been displaced. Recently, a student slipped and suffered injuries due to the protruding stone slabs. Luckily, the injuries were minor and the student was treated as an out-patient. Residents said that despite the incident being brought to the notice of the MCC, no action has been taken till date. Authorities concerned are urged to take note of the safety of the students and re-lay the stone slabs at the earliest.
