Union Home Minister Amit Shah to visit Mandya on Dec. 30

December 27, 2022

Mandya: In a big boost to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) cadre in Mandya district ahead of the Assembly polls which is just a couple of months away, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be visiting the Sugar Town on Dec. 30.

Upon his arrival in the district, Amit Shah, who is also the Union Minister for Co-operation, will inaugurate the Mega Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) Milk Dairy at Gejjalagere on Mandya-Maddur stretch of Mysuru-Bengaluru Road, following which he will address a BJP mega rally at the sprawling Mandya University (Boys College) campus at Mandya city.

Amit Shah’s visit to Mandya will be a big morale booster for the BJP cadre in the district, at a time when the Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S), which has a stronghold over the district, has just held its ambitious Pancha Ratna Yatra and the Congress is gearing up in full swing for the Assembly polls by launching a Bus Yatra across the State from Dec. 30 to Jan. 29, in two phases.
