Mysuru: On the occasion of Doctor’s Day, city-based Ayurveda Prachara Parishat Trust has organised “Vaidya Bhaskara” Awards ceremony on July 1 to felicitate six doctors who have rendered selfless service to society.

The event will be held at the Institution of Engineers, JLB Road, at 10.15 am. Former Vice-Chancellor of Kuvempu University Prof. P. Venkataramaiah will give away the awards.

The awardees are: Dr.S.P. Yoganna of Suyog Hospital, Bharath Cancer Hospital Superintendent Dr.M.S. Vishweshwara, Dr.K.S. Radhakrishna Ramarao of Government Ayurveda Hospital, Mysuru, Mandya District Ayurveda Practitioner Dr.H.P. Chandrashekar, Ramanagar District Ayurveda Practitioner Dr.H.A. Venkatesh and Mysuru District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Dr. Y.D. Rajanna.
