Vedike launches post card campaign to save BEML

Mysuru: The Mysuru Kannada Vedike launched ‘Save BEML’ post card campaign at the Post Box near the MCC main gate on Sayyaji Rao Road here yesterday.

Alleging that the Centre was pushing for privatisation of the giant public sector BEML, the Vedike members said that the campaign is aimed at urging the Centre to save BEML by dropping privatisation plans. Vedike President S. Balakrishna, office-bearers Bannur K. Raju and Bogadi Siddegowda, BEML Employees Association President Devadas and others took part.
