Mysuru: Members of Mysuru Kannada Vedike staged a protest in front of Kuvempu Statue near Gun House Circle here this morning opposing any move to divide the State by splitting North Karnataka.

The Vedike members alleged that the partition issue had been unnecessarily created by politicians which should be fought tooth and nail by the people of the State unitedly. Vedike President Balakrishna and others took part in the protest.
