Venkatram Kashyap (73), city Brahmana Samaja leader, ‘Manvantara’ newspaper Editor and a resident of Ramakrishnanagar E& F Block, passed away yesterday morning. He had also served as head of Sri Sharada Ganakala Mandira Music and Veena Education Institution in Nanjangud.

He leaves behind his wife Lalithamma, son Sumanth Kashyap, daughter-in-law Nikhila, daughter Megha Kashyap and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill yesterday.
