Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Gokulam, Mysuru, in collaboration with ISTE and the IEEE PELS Bangalore Chapter, will host a five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled “AI for All: Interdisciplinary Applications Across Engineering Domains” from July 28.
The programme aims to enhance the understanding and practical knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its diverse applications across multiple engineering streams, encouraging interdisciplinary learning and collaborative research among faculty. The FDP is convened by Dr. K. Gopala Reddy, Head, Department of EEE, and coordinated by Dr. S. Rashmi, Associate Professor, Department of EEE. This initiative underscores VVCE’s commitment to faculty empowerment and technological advancement in higher education.
The inaugural ceremony will take place at B.C. Lingaiah Hall, VVCE, at 9.45 am. Gundappa Gowda, President, Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Mysuru, will preside. Manoj Kumar, Vice President – Data Engineering at Redbus India Pvt. Ltd., will be the chief guest. P. Vishwanath, Secretary, VV Sangha and P. Prabhavathi, Co-Founder & CEO, Skillsoc Technologies LLP, Bengaluru, will be the guests of honour. Shrishaila Ramannavar, Treasurer, VV Sangha, B. Sadashive Gowda, Principal, VVCE and Shobha Shankar, Vice-Principal & Dean – Academic Affairs, VVCE will be present.
