Why cameras are banned at Hebbal Lake Park?

October 22, 2021

Sir,

While I admire the work done by Infosys Foundation in maintaining Hebbal Lake Park, it irks me to no end that cameras are banned in this Park. It is a great location for bird and nature photography enthusiasts.

Most people who visit this Park go with their smartphones which have fairly good cameras. So what is the rationale behind this ban on cameras inside the Park?  This is a public park for enjoyment of all and this arbitrary ban serves no purpose. Please rescind this ban immediately. I also would like to request the authorities concerned to leave the Park open all day as it was earlier.
