Mysuru: Mysuru Zoo has organised a number of activities aimed at educating masses and creating awareness about the importance of wildlife and its conservation as a part of 70th Wildlife Week 2024. This year, the Zoo is organising cyclothon, photography exhibition, waste to wealth, quiz competition and many more activities. Following are the events from Oct. 2 to 8:

Oct. 2: Cyclothon and Wildlife Week Photography Expo inauguration at Mysuru Zoo; Swachhata Abhiyan at Lalitadripura Lake.

Oct. 3: Waste to Wealth Competition (2 categories – Biodegradable and Non-Biodegradable Wastes) at Mysuru Zoo.

Oct. 4: International Zoo Keepers Day, Activities for animal keepers and Short video on animal keepers at Mysuru Zoo.

Oct. 5: Sustainable gardening at home at Mysuru Zoo; Evening walk at Karanji Lake.

Oct. 7: Wildlife Yoga at Karanji Lake Nature Park.

Oct. 8: Valedictory, Fancy Dress (age 3-6 yrs Children’s) and Prize Distribution at Amphitheatre in Mysuru Zoo.
