Mysuru: Bharat Scouts and Guides had organised Mysuru division-level patriotic song competition for Cubs, Bul Bulls, Scouts and Guides and folk song competition for Rovers and Rangers at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) auditorium  in the city recently. More than 600 students from Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar, Hassan, Chikkamagalur, Kodagu, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts had participated in the competitions.

The winners and runners are eligible to take part in State- level competition to be held in Tumakuru on Dec. 1.

 Results: Cubs – Winner: Vivekananda School (Vinobanagar, Sullia)

Bul Bul – Winner: Alva’s English Medium School (Moodbidri)

Scouts – Winner: St. Aloysius Gonzaga (Mangaluru); Runners: Alva’s English Medium School (Moodbidri)

Guides – Winner: Alva’s English Medium School (Moodbidri)

Rovers – Winner: Vani PU College (Belthangady); Runners: Alva’s PU College (Moodbidri).

Rangers – Winner: Vani PU College (Belthangady); Runners: Jain PU College (Moodbidri).
