City’s M.D. Sreenivasa Prasad participated in the 30th National Strength-Lifting and Inclined Bench Press Competition at New Cooch Behar, West Bengal, recently and has bagged a Silver Medal in Incline Bench Press and one Bronze in Strength-Lifting.He was the only Mysurean among the 13 participations from Karnataka. A Grand Master (above 60 years of age), Sreenivasa Prasad took part in the 76kg (body weight) category. Apart from him, another silver and a bronze was won by team Karnataka.
