The Department of Studies in Library and Information Science, University of Mysore, Manasagangothri, Mysuru, is organising a two-day National Workshop on “Quality Research Methodology and Writing, Publishing Skills for Researchers” on July 26 and 27. Prof. Yateendra Joshi, a freelance copy editor of scientific texts and the author of ‘Communicating in Style’, will be the main speaker. He is also a member of the editorial board of ‘Information Design Journal’, and an ‘Associate Fellow of Communication Research Institute, Australia’. The workshop includes review of literature, searching databases, publishing in high-impact-factor journals, presentation of data, report writing for thesis, ethics in research etc. The workshop is useful to all the Faculty Members, Scientists, Research Scholars and Students.
