Mysore/Mysuru: On the occasion of World Heart Day recently, Cauvery Heart and Multi-speciality Hospital in the city created awareness about cardiovascular health and the importance of a strong, beating heart.

Six remarkable individuals — cardiac patients, survivors and warriors — were the chief guests of the programme.

As part of the programme, balloons were released outside the hospital, in the presence of Chairman of the Hospital Dr. G.R. Chandrashekar, MD of the Hospital Dr. Sarala Chandrashekar, Chief Interventional Cardiologist Dr. J. Rajagopal, Cardiothoracic Surgeon Dr. S.C. Madhuprakash, Facility Director K. M. Prashanth and others.
