Yeddyurappa kicks off Jana Samparka Abhiyana in city

June 11, 2017

Mysuru: State BJP President and former CM B.S. Yeddyurappa set off the party’s ‘Jana Samparka Abhiyana’ campaign in the district by garlanding the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at FTS Circle on Mysuru-Bengaluru Road in city this morning.

Later speaking to press persons, Yeddyurappa accused Siddharamaiah Government of inept handling of drought situation in the State.

Pointing out that he was touring the State to hear the grievances of the people, he lashed out at Siddharamaiah saying that he was having breakfast and lunch at Dalit homes in order to assess their living conditions and not for   the sake of publicity.

Questioning Siddharamaiah whether he had bothered to understand the real issues concerning Dalits, Yeddyurappa asserted that the Congress, which is posing as pro-Dalit, will be voted out of power in the 2018 Assembly polls.

Expressing confidence that the BJP would realise its ‘Mission-150,’ he said that the party workers would take Prime Minister Modi’s schemes and initiatives to the doorsteps of every household in a big way.

Earlier, Yeddyurappa who arrived over two hours beyond schedule, was given a rousing reception by the party workers at FTS Circle.

Yeddyurappa later left for Dalit leader Narasimhamurthy’s residence at Kurimandi Kesare, where he had breakfast. The menu included Avarekaalu Uppittu, Ragi Rotti and Chutney.

After having breakfast, Yeddyurappa addressed a gathering at closeby Kurimandi Maidan, where he targetted the Congress, saying that the party had showed scant respect to iconic Dalit leaders such as Dr. Ambedkar and Babu Jagjivan Ram.

The State BJP Chief later left for Pinjarapole at the foot of Chamundi Hill, from where he will go to Shettanayakanahalli in Yelwal hobli and interact with farmers later in the afternoon.

Former Ministers V. Sreenivasa Prasad, Kote M. Shivanna and S.A. Ramdas, MP Pratap Simha, leaders Kautilya Raghu, Dr. B.H. Manjunath, L. Nagendra, Maruti Rao Pawar, M. Rajendra, B.P. Manjunath, former IAS officer K. Shivaram and others were present during the occasion.

Yeddyurappa has been depicted like an eating machine! Just because elections are just 1 year away, he is showing lot of interest on Dalits. It looks like he is acting in dramas. Actually, Yeddy should have invited the people to his home and he himself should have served them after making them sit on dining table. But he is acting like a land lord who goes to poor people’s home and demand them to serve food.
People understand this drama by Yeddy and know what to do in elections!!

if BJP projects Yeddy as their CM Candidate, We should make sure BJP never gets a majority. He is the most corrupt politician in the modern era. BJP is really making a blunder by projecting him.

Chor machaye shor- before election. The party has no better leader than this guy, whose regime was full of controversies of corruption, though exonerated later by Center’s Boot-lickers of India. Khao & Khilao- will be the strategy of this party (like present one) in a more agreessive & blatant manner once they come. Karnataka’s ordinary citizen- be prepared for this reality of miserable situationin future
