Youth cuts birthday cake with machete; lands in jail

Mysuru: A youth, who celebrated his birthday by cutting the cake with a machete (long) and uploaded the video on social media platform has landed in jail.

The youth, who landed in jail is Tabrez, a resident of Ghousianagar in Udayagiri Police limits.

On Jan. 2, the accused celebrated his birthday with his friends during which he cut the birthday cake with the lethal weapon and uploaded the video on a social media platform.

The Police, who got the information, went through the video and as it is a crime to possess lethal weapons, Udayagiri Police arrested the accused and produced him before a Court, which remanded him to judicial custody.
