Mysore/Mysuru: Continuing his visits to Gram Panchayats in the wake of spike in Corona positive cases, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer (CEO) A.M. Yogesh inspected a few Gram Panchayats and Primary Health Centres in Nanjangud Taluk yesterday.
He went to Tandavapura, Kempisiddanahundi, Hulimaavu, Hosakote and Suttur GPs and Health Sub-Centre to see the Covid management.
Visiting Tandavapura Health Centre, he collected information about the number of patients in Covid Care Centres and home isolation and asked officers to arrange for the sale of fruits and vegetables near the houses of positive patients. ASHA workers were directed to complete house- to-house survey at the earliest.
At Kempisiddanahundi GP, Yogesh collected information about Covid management from the Panchayat Development Officer. Later, he went to Hulimaavu GP and discussed about the number of infected and recovered patients.
Then, he went to Hosakote Primary Health Centre and computed details on the shortage of medicine and issued directions to conduct Rapid Antigen Test in the Centre.
Panchayat Development Officers, Avinash, Chaya, Mahadevaswamy, Shivakumar and other ASHA workers were present.
