BJP workers taken into custody ahead of CM’s visit to Mandya

May 8, 2017

Mandya: With Chief Minister Siddharamaiah scheduled to arrive in Mandya this afternoon, the Mandya Police have taken over 10 BJP workers into preventive custody for allegedly planning to hold black flag demonstration against the CM during his visit.

Siddharamaiah is scheduled to launch a slew of developmental works at Basaralu.

It may be recalled, the CM during his visit to Malavalli on Apr. 20, had given a dressing down to Mandya SP in full public view for failing to stop BJP workers from staging a black flag demo.
