Mysuru: Negilayogi Samaja Seva Trust, District Police and Indian Martial Arts Training and Research Academy together have organised a free karate training camp for men and women at the Government Employees Association premises in K.R. Nagar from May 15.

Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here recently, senior trainer D. Ravikumar said that the camp would also train women in self-defence techniques so that they could gain confidence when they land in a difficult situation.

He added that interested people can contact K.R. Nagar Police Station [08232-263666].

A poster of the training camp was released on the occasion.
