Dr. Shankar P. Hosamani (72), retd. Professor of Botany Department, University of Mysore, passed away yesterday. He leaves behind his wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites today at 3.30 pm at Veerashaiva burial ground in Vidyaranyapuram.
