M. Basavanna (70), a resident of Gowrishankaranagar in the city, passed away on Friday. He leaves behind his wife Annapoorna, two sons and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Veerashaiva burial grounds at Siddarthanagar this afternoon, according to family sources.
