33rd State Roller Skating Championships: Mysuru Roller Skaters Excel

Mysuru roller skaters dominated the proceedings on the opening day of the 33rd State Roller Skating Championships 2017 being held at Mangaluru by winning a rich haul of medals on the day one of the championships.

In the senior women’s section, Rea Elizabeth, G.D. Anju (junior girls), Sanath S. Kumar (Junior boys) won the time-trials gold. Omkar Yograj (senior men), Reetu Dinesh (senior women), Kamalraj (senior men), Kalpana Kuttappa (junior girls) won silver medals.

Ashwin (junior boys), Vedavati and Pratheeksha (bronze medals) while Pavani Shetty won a gold and a silver in the U-8 category in the Open State Event. Mysuru roller skaters won a total of four golds, four silver and three bronze medals on the first day.
