Mysore/Mysuru: The 37th International Nirantara Kalemane Festival on the occasion of Sri Ramanavami Festival was held on Apr. 20 at Kalemane Sabhaangana in Hebbal 2nd Stage by Kumar Performing Arts Centre (KPAC), Mysuru.
Prof. Vidu. Asha Hemaraju, Founder of Natyaanjana School of Dance and Music, Bengaluru, Vidu. H.M. Sheela Prabha, Founder of Lahari Academy of Arts and Vidu. Shrividya Shashidhar, Founder of Shri Durga Nrutya Academy, were the special invitees.
The following artistes performed on the occasion:
• Dr. Gayatri Krishnaveni Lakshmanan of Krishnadhwani School of Natya, Chennai and disciples presented ‘Dashavidharupa Hari.’
• Dr. Shobha Shashikumar of Mayuri Nrutyashala, Bengaluru and her disciples presented ‘Sri Sitarama Charitam.’
• Keralanadanam by Dr. Joy Krishnan and Mohiniyattam by Vineeta Srinandan.
• Bharatanatyam recitals by Bhanu Priya Rakesh of Arka Kala Kuteera, Bengaluru and disciples; Dr. Lakshmi Rekha Arun of Laasya Academy of Dance, Bengaluru; Disciples of Karnataka Kalashree Dr. K. Kumar, Founder & Director of KPAC.
