Achievers to be feted at ‘Kannada Habba’ tomorrow

The Karnataka Rajya Vokkaligara Vikasa Vedike will felicitate over 100 achievers from different fields at the ‘Kannada Habba’ programme organised by it at Kirurangamandira in Kalamandira premises on Hunsur road  tomorrow (Dec.25) at 9 am.  Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, Vedike President H.L. Yamuna said that Tumkur University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Y.N. Siddegowda will inaugurate the programme. The achievers to be feted include those from the fields of Literature, Farming, Journalism, Fine Arts, Social Service, Sports etc.

District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Maddikere Gopal, Dr. S.P. Yoganna of Suyog Hospital, leaders K.R. Mill Shivanna, Ashok Chikkaramegowda, K. Harish Gowda and others will be present as chief guests.

Vedike member Susheela Nanjappa was present at the press meet.
