Empowering Women to Code the Future, a 24-hour Hackathon
Mysuru: GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru, is hosting “AInnovation 2025: Empowering Women to Code the Future, a 24-hour Hackathon” on Mar. 7 and 8.
Organised by the Department of CSE, GSSSIETW and Powered by Kyndryl in collaboration with Microsoft Code; Without Barrier, this event is designed to foster innovation and technical excellence among female engineering students in Mysuru.
AInnovation 2025 Hackathon is for women students of engineering programmes (B.E/B.Tech & M.Tech) and women students of B.Sc, BCA, M.Sc & MCA programmes within Mysuru, to showcase their skills in cloud computing and AI.
Each college is permitted to send multiple teams, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and innovation. Every team must consist of four female participants, ensuring equal opportunities for women in technology. Teams are required to have a unique team name, reflecting their identity and vision.
Additionally, participants must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Azure and AI Services, as the hackathon will challenge them to develop cutting-edge cloud-based solutions. This initiative not only promotes technical excellence and teamwork but also bridges the gender gap in the tech industry.
By bringing together talented women from different institutions, the event facilitates collaboration, knowledge exchange, and hands-on learning.
With no registration fees, participants can win attractive cash prizes (Rs.25,000, Rs.15,000 and Rs.10,000) along with exclusive goodies and T-shirts.
The selection process starts with the ideation stage followed by an Online Qualifier Round (Feb.17 – 21), leading up to the finals on Mar. 7 – 8.
