Annual Sandal Urus Shariff of Nawab Hyder Ali Khan held

Mysore/Mysuru: The 249th year Annual Sandal Urus Shariff of Hazarath Nawab Hyder Ali Khan Bahadur, organised by Hazarath Tipu Sultan Urus & Welfare Committee, Meena Bazar, Mysuru, was held recently.

 Fukras, Ulmas, Devotees, Hazarath A.R. Trichy Khalandar Baba N.K. from Chinna Suriyur Trichy, Hazarath Sufi Azeem Ali Chishti, Ghousia Nagar, Sufi Saint Dr. Arif Warsi Saheb, Khankha Warsiya Bangalore, President of Chishtiya Foundation Group Khwaja Mohammed Musheer Chishti, Secretary of Dr. Abdul Kalam Welfare Trust Syed Ameen, Radhiulla Khan, Towfiq Majeed Khan, Ahmed Pasha Khadree, Ameen Ismail and others taking part in the Urus.

The Management of Tipu Sultan Wakf Estate, Srirangapatna, under the supervision of MLA Tanveer Sait, who is also the Chairman of Tipu Sultan Welfare & Development Committee, had organised the procession of Hyder Ali Urus from Masjid Ala in Srirangapatna. The procession was accompanied by Jamiya Tipu Arabic College students and staff, Estate Officers, Committee Vice-President Asif Sait, Secretary Irfan Ahmed, Mysore District Wakf Board Wakf Officer Mushtaq Ahmed, Hazarath Moulana Mohammed Inayath-ur-Rehaman Razvi, Shahi Imam of Masjid Aqsa, Tipu Tomb and others.

Fatha Khawni was performed, Sandal Paste was applied, flower mat was spread on the shrine of Hazarath Nawab Hyder Ali Khan Bahadur and family members, floral tributes were offered and prayer was held for the welfare of all.  Tipu Sultan Wakf Estate had organised dinner (Tabruk) in the evening and Afroz Pasha, Secretary of Tipu Sultan Urus & Welfare Committee had arranged for lunch.
