Ashada Fridays: Use of plastics banned

In a move aimed at discouraging use of plastics and to keep the environment clean, Sri Chamundeshwari  Kshetra Development Authority has banned use of plastics by devotees atop Chamundi Hill on all the Four Ashada Fridays (June 27, July 4, July 11 and July 18) and on July 17 during Sri Chamundeshwari Vardhanti celebrations, according to a press release.
