Gundlupet: The villagers in the border village of Bachahalli adjoining the Bandipur National Park were a happy lot as the heavy rains that lashed the taluk on Thursday last filled the Bachahalli tank to the brim. The region was experiencing drought for quite a few years. The villagers performed Ganga Puja and offered bagina to the tank.
