Mysuru: Nadavidyalaya Academy of Music and Dance, Mysuru, has organised it’s 17th monthly concert of Bharatanatyam ‘Samarpanam’ at Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha on JLB Road in city on Aug.2 at 6.30 pm.

‘Samarpanam’ (To sir with love), the Bharatanatyam Solo Concert will be presented by Vidu. Mithra Naveen in memory and dedication to Shantala and Rajyotsava awardee Guru Natyacharya K. Muralidhara Rao to mark the 95th birthday of the great soul.

Kala Sevaratna art patron K.V. Murthy, art critic Dr. Rama V. Bennur, Director of Noopura School of Dance Natyacharya Prof. K. Ramamurthy Rao and Director of Nrityagiri Performing Arts and Research Centre Dr. Vidu. Kripa Phadke will preside over the occasion.

Samarpanam concert will be accompanied by Vid. Naveen M.S. Andagar on vocal, Guru Dr. Vidu. Kripa Phadke on natuvanga, Vid. H.L. Shivashankaraswamy on mridanga and Vid. C.N. Thagarajan on flute.
